Now I know this is a little silly….

Now I know this is a little silly, but I feel compelled to raise it.

I just completed a business transaction closing for a nice young couple. It came out in the discussion that they had not read the document that they were required to sign.

The economy is starting to turn around. People are starting to take risks again. But there is no need to take that much.

If you are in a transaction, READ!!!! the documents. Know what you are signing. If you don’t understand, ask. The hour you might pay a lawyer to read the document and have them explain it to you is worth millions in avoided trouble.

End of my soapbox.
